Gone are the days of the simple chocolate advent calendar. Counting down to Christmas now requires a new candle, piece of jewellery or beauty product to get us in the Christmas spirit. But you'd better get in the Christmas spirit fast, as it's September and the best beauty advent calendars are already selling out.

Harrods opened their pre-orders weeks ago; Space NK revealed its 2026 calendar in late August; and Liberty’s iconic calendar launched early September. By the time December comes round, most of the good ones are long gone.

The independent Irish brand Sculpted By Aimee, founded by Aimee Connolly, launched its advent calendar in 2023 – and it’s sold out every year since. Last year, it was sold out within five days of launching (one sold every 2.5 seconds in the first hour). By the time it went live, 35,000 people were already on the waitlist.

What’s really caught our attention about this year's calendar is the exclusivity. Five of the 13 products don't exist outside the calendar – including a new burgundy shade of the brand's MyMascara and Cream Luxe Highlight in Glass Glow, a new glossy light-gold shade of a highlighter. When does the Sculpted By Aimee Advent Calendar 2026 launch?

The calendar went on general sale on 6 September, and its waitlist is now open. The calendars will begin dispatching towards the end of September.
