Scream 7 is officially in the works – but with someone new in the director's chair. Following recent reports of his involvement, Freaky director Christopher Landon took to Twitter to share an image of Ghostface, confirming that he's taking over the reins from Radio Silence's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who helmed the franchise's super successful fifth and sixth installments,
"Looks like 7 really is a lucky number. More to come…," tweeted the filmmaker, whose credits also include Happy Death Day, We Have a Ghost, and several Paranormal Activity movies.
