A scrambler bike rider suffered serious injuries after a crash involving a red Ford Ka.
The collision happened on Wood Lane at the junction with Peckmill Green in Netherley, shortly after 7pm yesterday (Wednesday).
The white off-road scrambler bike struck a red Ford Ka, with the 24-year-old male rider of the motorbike suffering serious injuries in the collision. The driver of the car stopped at scene and is assisting with enquiries.

PC Adam Cheshire from the Roads Policing Unit said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision and we would urge anyone with CCTV or dash camera footage within their vehicle to get in touch. If you saw, or have footage of any of the vehicles involved in this collision in the area prior to the collision we would also be grateful to hear from you".
