The Scottish town of Oban has been crowned one of the "most festive" locations in the whole of the UK in a new list by Time Out.
The list looked at 10 destinations across the country with only Oban in Argyll and Bute making the cut.
Speaking of their brand-new list, the publication said that while the country "can’t guarantee a white Christmas, there’s something to be said for its picture-perfect towns and villages."
Time Out added: "Throughout November and December many of these towns turn into something out of a Christmas movie, with everything from Shakespeare-themed candlelit walks and renowned light shows to festive railway rides and good old pantomimes on show."
Oban named one of the 'most festive' UK towns to visit this Christmastime
Oban on the west coast of Scotland was fifth on the list with the site highlighting the Oban Winter Festival (between November 16 and 26) which has now sadly passed.

"Don’t forget your walking boots for a steep jaunt up to the iconic McCaig’s Tower, to bask in the lights from above."
