Scottish Tory veteran compares Greens to 'blackshirts' after Zionism comment

A SENIOR Tory politician has compared the Scottish Greens to Oswald Mosley's fascist "blackshirts" after co-leader Ross Greer said Zionism is racist and described the creation of Israel as an "act of ethnic cleansing".

It comes as the separate Green Party of England and Wales sparked a backlash after voting to adopt a motion declaring "Zionism is racism".
