A Scottish man has said the last few days have been 'the toughest of his life' after his dad was reported missing, with recent sightings suggesting he could be in Edinburgh.
Gordon Bonnes, from Lundin Links, Fife, has shared various updates since his dad, Andy, went missing on Tuesday, August 2. Police have launched multiple appeals, asking for the public's help in tracing Andy safe and well, saying that the 57-year-old was sighted in the capital on Thursday, August 4.
On the day Andy was reported missing, Gordon shared the appeal to his Facebook account and said: "This isn't a post I'd ever thought I'd make, but my dad Andy Bonnes has gone missing. If anyone sees him please get in touch ASAP with myself, or the police or Kirsty Goodman.

"He doesn't have his phone, and was last seen at 9am on Tuesday. In times like these, I hope social media can rally together and find him, and get him home safe. Please Share to get the word out."
As of Wednesday, August 10, Andy is still officially missing, with his son thanking everyone for their help, but the last week has been the most difficult of his life. He said: "The support so far has been truly overwhelming. I'm sorry I can't get back to all the concerned messages, however we have strong leads to finding my dad - and hopefully we will find him soon.
"I have been in constant contact with my family and the police over the last 72 hours which has been some of the toughest few days of my life. Andy, if you see this, please know we are all very concerned. Come home. As you say, everything is fixable."
On Monday, August 8, Levenmouth Police renewed their appeal on social media, saying: "Andy Bonnes (57) reported missing from Lundin Links on 02/08 is believed to have been in Edinburgh & Inverkeithing area on Thurs 4th August. Andy was last wearing a black jacket and black baseball cap as per the attached image."
Gordon added: "There has been progress in finding my dad so far - with alleged sightings in Edinburgh and Inverkeithing. I'm hopeful we can find him sooner rather than later."
