A SCOTTISH refugee charity has said two of its donation buckets have been stolen in a Scottish city.
In a post on Twitter/X, the Scottish Refugee Council said that two buckets had been stolen from a venue in Edinburgh.
The charity works to support refugees in Scotland, providing advice and support services, promoting community integration and campaigning for a fairer asylum system.
It further said that it was unsure how much money had been taken.
The statement on social media said: “Unfortunately, two of our donation buckets have been stolen from a venue in Edinburgh.
“It is not possible to know the amount gifted but it is saddening to hear that these valued donations will not make it to us.
“We thank everyone who had donated for their kindness.”
