Falkirk boss John McGlynn has stated there has been "no contact whatsoever" from the Scottish FA over the vacant national team job.
The experienced coach has been heavily linked as a contender to succeed Steve Clarke in the Hampden hotseat.
McGlynn admits he has been flattered by those recommending him for the Scotland job, but was clear his focus remains on matters at Falkirk alone.
Speaking on Sky Sports about being touted for the post, McGlynn said: "It's amazing. For high-profile people in the game to be pushing my name for that job.

"I am obviously totally committed here, and there has been no contact whatsoever. I am very focused on the job [at Falkirk].
"It is very nice from the people who have been putting me forward and supporting me in that way.
"I think they know what I am like and how well we have done.
"It's some great recognition, and it is nice to hear it, but I'm getting on with the job at hand right now."
Asked whether he would be interested in the position if the Scottish FA were to make an approach, McGlynn said: "The SFA would need to go through the proper procedure and speak to the club and see where it goes if it comes to that.
"I am just focused on what I am doing right now."
