Police in the Scottish Borders have released an appeal to the public for assistance in tracing a missing 15-year-old girl.
Una Zange was reported missing from Galashiels in the Borders on July 9 and police are becoming increasingly concerned about her wellbeing. Her friends and family are reportedly also becoming concerned for her welfare.
The 15-year-old was last seen at around 2pm in Lauder, near Galashiels. The police suggest that she may have gone to Edinburgh but this has not yet been confirmed.

Una is described as being 5ft 4, of medium build, with shoulder length wavy dyed blonde hair, a nose piercing and potentially carrying a brown shoulder bag. She was last seen wearing black joggers with white stripes down the leg and an oversized navy hoodie.
Scottish borders police announced the appeal in the late morning of July 10 on social media. The Facebook post has now been shared by more than 130 concerned locals.
Police Scotland are encouraging anyone who has seen Una or who may have information on her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland and quote incident number 3307 of July 9.
Inspector Thomson from Galashiels Police station said: “We are concerned for Una’s safety and appeal to anyone who may have seen her to contact police.”
