A group of Scottish passengers on a flight from Glasgow were left shocked after spotting a strange object flying close to their plane as they jetted off.
Flying out from Glasgow Airport on Thursday morning (February 17), the UFO could be clearly spotted above the clouds to the side of the plane.
One passenger was quick enough to capture some clear snaps of what appears to be a large dark, oblong craft.
The sighting comes weeks after a passenger on a plane from Glasgow to London Gatwick was spooked by a "strange object" she spotted out the left-hand side of the plane.
Marjol Cela said she spotted the UFO as the flight was descending into London, and said it looked like an "object in disguise" which looked like it was "hovering" rather than flying.
Recently it was revealed that last year was a bumper year for sightings of strange objects in the sky, with 47 Unidentified Flying Objects ( UFOs ) being spotted across the country.
The number of UFO reports, or UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) as they are now referred to in official circles, to various organisations in Scotland rose 13 from 34 in 2020.
UFO Identified, an organisation created by Ufologist Ash Ellis, collated the sightings and examined the data in a bid to help create a better picture of what is going on in the skies above the UK.
