A Scottish OAP was left heartbroken after missing out on his £4,000 dream cruise - after his NHS Covid app wouldn't open.

Malcolm Walker was unable to access the app to show his vaccination status, meaning he was refused boarding on the luxurious holiday.

The 75-year-old missed the 11-day cruise to Portugal, Spain and Gibraltar with his wife on April 18 because of the NHS Scotland Covid Status app.
