Police are investigating after a Midlothian mum was left horrified to discover a topless man targeting her 11-year-old daughter and friends during a live stream on Instagram.
The stranger is believed to follow up to 800 schoolkids on the social media app and multiple parents at Woodburn Primary in Dalkeith school are understood to have reported the unknown adult attempting to contact kids online.
The primary school child's parent was mortified when her 11-year-old daughter told her that when speaking to her friends on an Instagram live the topless stranger asked them 'if they would like to see his banana'.

The parent then blocked the individual but he later joined onto her friend's account and started undressing in front of the girls.
She then contacted the police who are investigating the inappropriate conduct and primary school to raise the alarm.
The concerned parent told Edinburgh Live : "It's happening at Woodburn Primary School in Dalkeith, it’s a big coincidence this guy has kids all round Midlothian.
"I think he must live here and the worry for a lot of parents is has he seen them in their school uniform.
"I reported it last night and this morning , my 11 year old daughter and her two friends who are also 11 were on Instagram live speaking to each other when this man popped up in the video chat and asked them if they would like to do the banana dance and see his banana.
"So my daughter shouted on me and I told her to block him then half an hour later he joined from her friend's live and as I looked he was undressing live on Instagram.
