A Scottish man has shared some of the terrifying moments he has experienced since heading to Ukraine to volunteer.

Neil Broome, 42, made the decision to go and help on the front line, as thousands of people flee the country due to the ongoing Russian invasion.

Leaving from Edinburgh on March 4, Neil travelled to Poland before crossing the border and arriving in Lviv, Western Ukraine.
