A Scottish Mercedes was left completely mangled this week after it was caught in a serious collision with a HGV.
Emergency services had raced to the scene on the M90 near Dunfermline on Monday afternoon (November 14) after the two vehicles collided on the busy carriageway.
Alerted to the incident at around 1pm, police had gone on to issue a warning to other drivers after the luxury car was left destroyed from the crash.

Although no injuries had come as a result of the smash, images of the white Mercedes had shown its bonnet warped out of shape and cracked in two, as well as a shattered and dented windscreen.
The tail lights had also been ripped from the main body of the car, with severe mechanical damage also done below the bonnet, reports the Record.
Fife Road Policing officers attended the incident and said the state of the car was so bad that they "expected severe injuries". Thankfully, no one was hurt or required hospital treatment.
A 53-year-old man, however, has been reported in relation with alleged road traffic offences as a result of the smash.
A spokesperson for the local constabulary cautioned: "The lesson here is to pay attention and don't squeeze into a gap in lane one, especially when an HGV is there to stop you."
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 1pm on Monday, November 14, officers received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the M90 southbound near junction three. A 53-year-old man was reported in connection with road traffic offences.”
