A new list celebrating the UK's best boutique hotels has named several Scottish locations in its prestigious honours.
The list includes areas across the country, ranging from locations in Sutherland to the nation's capital, Edinburgh.
Of the 50 UK locations named, four were from Scotland.

The Fife Arms from the Aberdeenshire town of Braemar ranked 15th overall and was praised for its idyllic locations between the Scottish Highlands and northeast of Scotland.
While guests can take a stroll around the nearby landscapes, it has plenty of amenities such as Bertie's Bar stocked with over 365 whiskies.
Foyers Lodge came in at number 17 and overlooks Scotland's stunning Loch Ness.
The Victorian retreat was previously listed as one of The Times' top 100 Best British Hotels for 2021.
The establishment boasts a beautiful dining room with grand views of the surrounding landscapes as well as plenty of opportunity for forest walks, fishing, and boat trips.
Links House at Royal Dornoch featured at 40 with the Scottish manor home receiving commendation for its fine dining experience, using the finest ingredients from the sea and nearby landscape.
This hotel is ideal for golf lovers with the iconic Royal Dornoch Golf Club (ranked fourth in the world) only 30 minutes away.
Finally, House of Gods in Edinburgh took the 45th spot and expressed pride in its "acute clash of styles."
From cocktail bars to luxury rooms, House of Gods allows "guests to immerse themselves in an unapologetic world of extravagance."
