Punters have been treated to a magnificent day on one of the biggest fixtures on the racing calendar as crowds turned up at Ayr in their thousands for the Scottish Grand National.
A sell-out crowd headed to the West coast track to catch all the action and they saw Malystic take the opener at 8/1 before Sail Away turned in an impressive display to claim the second at odds of 13/2.
Rubaud took the Scottish Champion Hurdle, before the main event at which last year's runner-up Kitty's Light claimed the £200,000 prize.
Lucinda Russell was out of luck in the feature but Serious Operator was to win well for the stable later in the afternoon.
Jamie Snowden is a rare visitor to Ayr and those that took the hint will have been aboard Datsalrightgino as the 8/1 chance took the Grade 2 Future Novices' Chase.
