A Scottish dad who won part of a Euromillions jackpot was on the unlucky side of coming into a lot of money, as he fell out with his two sons to the point they smashed his new car up.
Alex Robertson was part of the 12-man bus driver group who snapped up a £38 million jackpot win in 2012, reports The Mirror. Alex got a £3.1 million share of the money, but didn't delve out the money in his family circle.
The Scottish dad had a life changing moment go from bad to worse, after two of his sons claimed he refused to share the money with them. At the time, the Daily Record reported that the two brothers, Alex Jnr and William, were given 200 cigarettes as means of a present after the huge win.

They were so angry with Alex that they decided to take matters into their own hands. Speaking to The Sun, 45-year-old Alex Jnr said: "We ended up taking hammers to his two new 4x4 Shoguns.
"We walked up his driveway at 11 o'clock at night and put two claw hammers through the windows of the car.
"We then reported ourselves to the police. This lottery win was the worst thing that ever happened to us — it ripped our families apart."
At the time, Alex Snr told the media how the money would be a "life-changing" thing for the family. He planned to take his 78-year-old mother to see her twin in Australia using the £3.1 million winnings.
However, a dream turned into a nightmare when his sons went sour, and Alex Snr accused William of sending threatening texts and harassing him.
William was charged with harassment and was due to stand trial at Northampton Magistrates’ Court, but the case was dropped in 2013 after Alex Snr decided against flying from Spain to give evidence in the trial.
It is unclear how strong the relationships are in the family now, but proves that money doesn't always buy you happiness.
