Scottish airline Loganair put up for sale as passenger numbers grow 50%

The UK’s largest regional airline Loganair has been put up for sale.

After owning the airline for 25 years, Scottish brothers Stephen and Peter Bond are looking for new owners. The company's fleet of 44 planes flies to more than 40 destinations across Europe and the British Isles, according to its website.

Loganair is crucial to many communities as it connects Edinburgh Airport to Stornoway in the Western Isles, Isle of Man and Guernsey amongst others.
