On Sunday at Royal Portrush, Scottie Scheffler wrote himself into golfing history, claiming his first Claret Jug in commanding fashion.

Starting the day four strokes clear, it was a procession from Scheffler, who birdied three of his first five holes to, at one point, lead by seven.
