Scott McTominay has taken to Instagram to share his battle scars from Manchester United win over Leeds United this weekend.
The two old foes reunited in front of fans for the first time in 18 years at Elland Road and it did not disappoint, at least for the neutral.
The Whites came from behind to level at 2-2 before the visitors scored two second-half goals to come away with all three points.
The Scotland international posted a series of images from the game, including cuts on his left ankle with the caption: 'Leeds away - proper game.'
However, the Scot was somewhat fortunate to stay on the pitch in a feisty affair.
The Manchester United midfielder committed six fouls during the 90 minutes at Elland Road and inflicted the head injury to Robin Koch which was the German international substituted midway through the first half.
McTominay then went in hard on Leeds substitute Junior Firpo while already on a booking. Referee Paul Tierney chose not to award a booking, leaving Leeds fans incensed.
Raphinha led the protests but would pick up a yellow card himself - one of nine handed out during the clash.
