Scott McDonald admits it's great to see 'so much green and white' taking over Sydney after Celtic jetted in for Ange Postecoglou's homecoming.
The Hoops are in Australia as they take part in the Sydney Super Cup and take on vital preparations for the second half of the season after the World Cup shutdown. The Scottish champions are in a strong position with a nine point advantage over Rangers in the Premiership title race as they bid to go for back-to-back league triumphs.
It's been a busy period for Celtic up to this point and the players, staff and management will be glad to take a break from the pressures of the Glasgow fishbowl. They are determined to put on a show Down Under and after defeat to Sydney FC in a match Postecoglou described his team as 'well off it' in, they will be targeting a much more positive outcome against Everton - a team linked with the 57-year-old if Frank Lampard was to be axed.

McDonald - who played for Celtic - is 'absolutely loving' the Hoops fever in Sydney with fans on the other side of the world offered the chance to see their heroes in the flesh instead of watching on TV screens and laptops at all hours of the morning.
He told the Celtic website : "I’m absolutely loving the fact that Celtic are here as a football club and really driving things.
"There’s obviously the connection with Australia with Ange and Harry being there, and also Aaron Mooy. Then previous to that you have people connected with Celtic Park like myself.
'It’s great to be here and see so much green and white taking over Sydney. It’s amazing and I was blessed to understand that from an early age.
"Like Ange talks about, coming from Australia you see the support there with all the ex-pats over the years, my parents being the same.
"I’ve been to America during my time as a Celtic player and see the support there and it’s just amazing and great when Celtic can touch down here and be part of the party."
