Scots zoo shares pic of bear cub Brodie posing after covering himself in mud

Little polar bear cub Brodie is up to his old tricks after he posed for a pic after he ended up covered in mud after playing in his pool at one of Scotland's top wildlife parks.

The wee eight-month-old bear is loving life as he explores his new surroundings at the Highland Wildlife Park, near Kingussie, after spending winter in the birthing den. Much like all toddlers his age, he's at his happiest when he's up to no good.

Posting the adorable photo on Facebook, the team wrote: "Like all toddlers, our Brodie tends to be a mucky cub sometimes.

"He loves his natural pool which has a peat soil base. This means he sometimes looks muddy, but don't worry, a quick clean in the bushes and he'll be sparkling again."

The tenacious little bear is already proving to be the wee star people were expecting after his older brother Hamish.

Posting in response to the pic, one fan wrote: "Brodie's spectacular fail at impersonating a panda."

To which the keepers jokingly responded: "He's BEARly fooling anyone..."

Born in December to mum Victoria and father Arktos in December, he's only the second polar bear cub to be born at the park after Hamish became the first cub born in the UK in over 25 years.
