Scots youngster ran into burning building to save grandparents' dogs after seeing home on fire

A teenage boy ran into his grandparent's burning home to save their dogs after spotting the blaze on his way home from school.

The brave teen, who risked his life during the dramatic rescue at the property in Paisley, reached into the flames to get the beloved family pets out safe after phoning the emergency services.

His mum, Lisa Cummings, posted about the ordeal online and told how her elderly parents were on holiday at the time their home of 17 years caught fire. She said they have been left "completely broken" by the nightmare.
