Scots are being warned of scammers who are selling tickets for the sold-out Edinburgh New Year's Eve celebrations to obtain personal details and money.

Tickets are being advertised online and on Facebook for the popular Hogmany street party and for the concert in the West Princes Street Gardens.

Many residents claim they have been scammed when trying to purchase tickets.
