Scots wanting to donate to help earthquake survivors in Turkey and Syria are being urged to do so via recognised charities.
Scotland's International Development Minister Neil Gray says doing so ensures the donations go directly to those effected by the 7.8-magnitude quake on Monday.
The natural disaster caused the deaths of more than 24,000 people and injured another 80,000, leaving millions homeless.
