A delighted Scots The Chase contestant walked away with the prize money after beating Chaser Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis with just one second to spare.
Sales manager Jason from Glasgow went on the show with the hopes of winning the money so he can travel around Scotland and go 'Munro bagging'.
When Jason first took to the table, host Bradley Walsh complimented his shirt which was emblazoned with watches. He said: "Welcome to the show, great shirt by the way!
Jason replied: "Thank you, I've had many good times whilst wearing this shirt!"
Bradley laughed: "I'll bet you have!"
Telling the host what he does for work, Jason said: "I'm a sales manager so I work with hotels, bars and restaurants to help them get new customers in."
Jason then told Bradley he is originally from Dundee but now resides in Glasgow, which he says is the "heartbeat of Scotland".
In his spare time he loves to explore his country and said he likes to do that in his spare time.
He said: "In Scotland, we've got a lot of mountains and they are called Munros and I like climbing them at the weekends so the official term is 'Munro bagging', there's 282 and I'm at 42 now but still a long way to go but it's a great thing to do at the weekend."
Brad then asked him what he will be doing with the cash if he beats the Chaser today and he replied: "So I need a camper van to go to the furthest parts of Scotland so yeah I would spend my money on that for more adventures!"
Another contestant, aerospace lecturer Graham, managed to bring back £7,000 during the cash builder, whilst Jason brought back £4,000.
Unfortunately, other members of the team, Carol and Rhiannion, didn't beat Darragh to come back for the final chase so it was down to Jason and Graham to take him on.
Jason and Graham managed to get 18 answers right after option for 'set B' of the questions.
But it turns out that Darragh was having a bad day at the office and the clock was stopped seven times as he got the answers wrong. The duo just hit the post with some answers but in the end they beat The Menace with just one second to spare.
Delighted with their victory, meaning they scooped £5,500 each, Jason said: "It's going towards the camper van!"
The Chase in on STV and Stv player at 5pm Monday to Friday.
