A Scots teen has been rushed to hospital following a two-car smash in Kirkcaldy. Police were called to Nairn Street at around 12.15pm on Wednesday, 23 November, following reports of a collision.
Emergency services have confirmed that a 17-year-old female was taken to Victoria Hospital by ambulance. Her condition is currently unknown.
Police say that a 40-year-old woman will be reported in connection with road traffic offences following the smash. Images from the scene show a heavily damaged red Vauxhall Astra on the pavement after appearing to collide with a silver car head-on.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15pm on Wednesday, 23 November, 2022 officers were called to a report of a two car crash on Nairn Street, Kirkcaldy.
“A 17-year-old female was taken to the Victoria Hospital by ambulance. A 40-year-old woman will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.”
