A creepy teacher has been struck off after sending sexual videos to a colleague's daughter and hounding her for sex.
Alexander Lamont had more than 50 allegations against him found proven by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). He was employed at a school in South Lanarkshire in 2018 when he grew close to an S6 pupil - who was also the daughter of one of his colleagues.
The disgraced English teacher hounded the girl – known as Pupil A – and sent her a video of himself engaged in a sex act.
Lamont also told the pupil he wanted to make her “scream daddy”.
Lamont’s actions left the pupil feeling “used and manipulated”, which she revealed in a statement to the GTCS. She said: “I felt hurt as I felt I was being used. The only time he would talk to me was when he was looking for someone to satisfy him.”
Chair Diane Molyneux announced the GTCS decision to ban Lamont from the classroom yesterday.
He faces a ban of up to two years before he can re-apply to become a teacher.
