Scots student diagnosed with inoperable rare brain tumour after months of headaches

A Scots student who suffered from headaches for several months has been given the devastating news that his tumour is inoperable.

Jordan Kearney, from Peterhead, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer when a large, 4cm mass was discovered after an appointment at an opticians in June.

The 22-year-old was taken into Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where an emergency biopsy was performed and three weeks later he was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM grade 4), leaving mum Maria and Damian devastated.
