Two major Scots actors were spotted enjoying a meal out in Glasgow over the weekend.
Game of Thrones and Trainspotting actor James Cosmo and infamous EastEnders villain Alex Ferns delighted staff as they dined at Bucks Bar in Glasgow on Friday night.
Cosmo, 75, and Ferns, 54, recently collaborated together on TV dramas Six Four and Chernobyl were hailed as 'lovely' following their visit to the popular Scots eatery.
The restaurant shared a snap of the two actors beaming alongside staff, writing on social media: "2 top Scottish actors dropped into Buck’s Trongate tonight!
"Alex Ferns famous for playing the villainous Trevor in East Enders was also recently in The Batman and Star Wars Andor.
"James Cosmo has been in Braveheart, Game of Thrones, Trainspotting, Wonder Woman and Sons of Anarchy. Such lovely people! Thanks for visiting guys."
Fans took to the comments to share their own stories of meeting the two Scots stars. One wrote: "I met James Cosmo whilst he was looking after a bar called speakers corner in 1979. Nice bloke."
Another added: "I met James Cosmo in knightswood shopping centre in a shop called presto’s. I was only about 6/7 years old. To this day when I tell people this, I always say my claim to fame is meeting him. Brilliant actor."
"He used to terrify me as kid when we was Trevor in EastEnders. But he seems like an nice guy in person. Good actor," a third wrote.
This comes after Cosmo, who played Jeor Mormont in the hit HBO fantasy drama series, was spotted at a Scots train station earlier this month. The actor stopped for a photo and smiled beside a delighted staff member at Glasgow Central Station.
