Sea shanty singer Nathan Evans has announced he's expecting a child with his wife Holly in sweet Christmas post.
The couple shared their happy news on Instagram, as they donned matching festive pyjama's holding a onesie that read 'Baby Evans'. The Airdrie born singer - who is best known for his viral sensation song, 'Wellerman' - announced their new arrival to the world on Tuesday night.
He wrote: "New addition to the Evans family coming May 2023!" followed by a blue heart. The singer and his wife couldn't leave their dog out of the announcement post too, writing: "Swipe right for a doggo disaster," including snaps of their adorable Labrador.
Friends of the couple soon flooded the comments of the stars post congratulating him and Holly. Scots Love Island winner Paige Turley wrote: "Awww how lovely!! Congratulations guys!"
TikTok sensation Littlest Chicken commented: "WOW! CONGRATS" Al Jukes from Scots duo SAINT PNHX penned: "Congratulations guys! Going to make amazing parents! X"
Edinburgh singer-songwriter Calum Bowie said: "Congrats!!," alongside a partying emoji.
Fans also wished the soon-to-be father well. One commented: "that’s amazing news guys! wish you all the best!"
Another said: "Congrats Nath and you will be a good dad." A third agreed: "congrats to you both troops buzzing for yous!"
