Scots singer accuses Australian DJs of passing off Rangers fan anthem 'I'm Feeling It' as their own

A singer is fuming after claiming two Australian DJs are passing off one of her songs as their own after it became a runaway hit with Rangers fans.

Angela McCluskey, from Glasgow, wrote In The Air in 2011 with American producer Morgan Page.

But she says she only found out dance duo Sunset Bros had made an “almost identical” version, called I’m Feeling It (In The Air), after her nephew sent a video of him celebrating a Rangers victory against Celtic at Ibrox.

Angela, 55, said: “I thought I was hearing things – 50,000 people were singing my song.

“Now I’m seeing Sunset Bros had 12million plays and I’m reading interviews where they are talking about their track and how they are coming to Scotland to sing it.

“How are they going to do that when they’re DJs?”

Despite contacting Sunset Bros, Angela claims they have yet to come clean in interviews that it is her song.

“Instead of making it clear that it is a remix of my song, they are calling it I’m Feeling It by the Sunset Bros, which is getting on my nerves.

“I’ve not seen a bean and that’s not fair. They think they are getting away with this by not mentioning that it is my vocal, my lyrics and melody.”

Representatives of Sunset Bros were contacted for comment.
