A stunned schoolkid has told how Donald Trump let him dine in style at his Turnberry golf resort this afternoon.
The former US President invited teenager Scott Burgess to have dinner with his entourage at the famous lighthouse by the side of the ninth green.
The 15-year-old, from East Kilbride, had travelled to the course in the hope of catching a glimpse of Trump playing golf at his Ayrshire resort.
And he was shocked to be invited inside the nearby halfway house for a slap-up dinner.
Scott said: "I was stood by the side of the green with my mum and gave Trump a wave as he came by.
"Next thing I knew he was calling us over and he got chatting. He asked if we'd like to come inside for dinner paid by him.
"We'd been stood waiting for a few hours as we'd tracked his plane and knew he was coming down.
"I had the day off school anyway so decided to come on the off chance of seeing him."
Fourth year pupil, Scott, tucked in while Trump and his entourage sat just yards away.
He said: "I had a beef pie, which was lovely. Just sitting in the same room as him was so surreal.
"I must say he was a very nice person - it was nothing like all the stuff you see on television.
"It was an amazing experience and one I'll definitely remember for a long time."
