A Scottish schoolgirl penned a heartwarming job application to a shop near her home - despite being just eight years old.
Plucky Sophie Wilson jumped at the chance to work at her local Londis store in Parkhouse, Glasgow, after spotting a help wanted sign in the window. The p5 Teresa’s Primary School pupil penned a handwritten CV to shopkeeper Manoj Bhardwaj.
Sophie pointed out she would be perfect for the role by including a list of her skills such as "good at counting and experience of cleaning my room".
