Police have traced a missing Scottish schoolgirl who had not been seen for five days, after going missing in Inverclyde.
Jade Murray, 16, had not been seen since Wednesday, September 14, having last been with family in Greenock. She was reported missing to police on Saturday, September 17.
She had been in touch with her family until Saturday, hence the delay in her being reported. Police said on Monday morning that she had since been traced safe and well.
Officers thanked the public's help in tracing the youngster. Anyone who can help find missing people can visit the Police Scotland website, where current cases are listed.
