A Scots pensioner is in hospital with serious injuries after a horror fall in holiday hotspot, Malta.
Maltese emergency services descended onto the incident on Triq il-Mediterran in the capital, Valletta, at 2.15pm today after the 81-year-old fell from a set of steps.
Medics attended and the man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where his current condition is unknown.
The Malta Police Force told Malta Today that an investigation is currently underway.
