A mum who underwent controversial mesh implant treatment has told how she has been left disabled and in excruciating pain.
Mhairi Foley had a procedure in August 2019 to repair protruding abdominal tissue left at the site of surgical scars from a Caesarean section.
The operation, which was carried out at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, involved a sheet of prolene mesh being implanted into her abdomen to reconstruct the abdominal wall.
