A Scots woman who shed almost four stone in weight admits she was given a 'wake-up call' when she struggled to jump on a trampoline with her niece without feeling out of breath.
Tracey O'Donnell, 46, from Govan, in Glasgow, weighed 14st 1lb at her heaviest before she ditched her unhealthy diet and started exercising.
Now she has dropped from a size 20 to size 8 and has had to borrow clothes from her daughter due to her transformation.
Tracey, who now weighs 9st 12lbs, told Glasgow Live: "I should be able to enjoy life with my nieces, but it was when I was on the trampoline with my niece, and I struggled to get up, and was so out of breath, that I had to lie there for a while to regain by breath, this was when I knew it was time to do something about my ever increasing weight.
"I was feeling unhealthy, and was having to stop for a breath, when I was out walking with my dog, or shopping. Breaking my ankle led to me getting to the heaviest I've ever been."
Tracey joined WeightWatchers in May 2022 and was allocated a daily points allowance where she tracked everything she ate before adding exercise into her routine.
And now she is swimming, walking or going to the gym every day in a bit to keep fit and increase her quality of life.
Tracey added: "I'm much more energetic and more confident going out being able to wear what I want without feeling self-conscious. My mobility has improved, and I no longer need to stop to get my breath, and now enjoy walking my dog.
"At the start of my journey I was only walking short distances once a day before I was out of breath. I feel like I'm getting back to the old me.
"Clothes shopping is now a pleasure, as I was having to buy a size 20, but now into a size 8. What a difference, and confidence comes with that!
"I used to walk into clothes shops and straight back out but now I am even "borrowing" my daughter's clothes, something I never ever thought I would do.
"My eating has improved, and I enjoy what I have. I feel happier, healthier and I am no longer afraid to get on the trampoline with my nieces and nephews.
"My advice to anyone losing weight is be motivated to achieve what u want and try to exercise as much as you can, and keep your foods varied.
"I enjoy that I can eat anything I want as long I stick to my points budget. Another great support has been my weekly workshop, as this has helped me to stay motivated, and listen to other members recipe ideas.
"You are never alone, and being with likeminded people, make it fun to do."
