A Scots mum has told how her "world collapsed" after discovering that her son had a rare life-limiting genetic disorder which left him unable to function independently.
Anna Dunn, 40, was told by doctors that her then four-month-old boy Bonham had Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia type 2A, which affects the development of the brain. Symptoms can vary, but for Bonham the condition impacts his balance, movement and ability to function.
Mum-of-three Anna and dad Graeme, from Paisley, now has to be on hand to help their son, now aged five, with tasks that many of us take for granted.
