A Fallin mum-of-two has opened up on her struggle with an excruitaiting neuropathic pain disorder tragically called the ‘suicide disease’.
Stacey Allan has been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, characterized by episodes of intense pain in the face, originating from the trigeminal nerve. Symptoms include sudden attacks of severe, sharp, shooting facial pain, often described as being like an electric shock and said by sufferers to be 11 on a pain scale of 1 to 10.
Stacey was first struck down with the condition on Boxing Day when she woke up with jaw and facial pain.
