A Scots motorist was left shocked when a cheeky but amusing note was left alongside a ticket insulting their parking.
The driver in Tranet found the fine from an East Lothian traffic warden, but with a note attached, which read: 'Parked like a t**!!'
Sharing it to Snapchat, the driver commented: "Not all parking attendants are p***** lol." There is no proof that the traffic warden who issued the ticket wrote the note, and it may be a prank from a member of the public, reports Edinburgh Live.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said: "It’s quite likely that the note was not written by the parking attendant – and it’s certainly not acceptable or representative of our standards."
Drivers can receive a parking fine, known as Penalty Charge Notices, for a number of reasons, mainly due to parking outwith allocated areas or not paying for parking.
