Scots Love Islander Ella Thomas backed to go all the way to the final

Stunning Scot Ella Thomas is being backed to go all the way to the final of the ITV dating show by her model agency.

The 23-year-old from Glasgow has been setting the fashion world on fire since she signed with Scotland’s top agency Colours and they believe she is going to be an instant hit with viewers.

Ella, who has the UK’s biggest brands queuing up to sign her for shoots, has also starred in music videos and appeared as an extra in a Hollywood blockbuster alongside Brad Pitt.

Colours Agency head booker Mark Conlin said Ella, who made her TV debut last night, is going to enchant fans of the show with her wit and charm.

He said: “Ella is such a lovely girl. She is one of our busiest models and shoots every week for high street fashion brands Schuh and Office.

“She has also done campaigns for National Trust Scotland and walked the runway at fashion shows in Edinburgh. She has an incredible work ethic and everyone in the industry loves her.

“Ella is so popular she is able to make a full time living from modelling and she has become the darling of the ecomm fashion world. She is beautiful and a grafter which is a brilliant combination.”

Mark, who signed Ella in 2020, added: “We are all delighted she has been chosen to go on Love Island as she is a sweetheart and will do Scotland proud.

“She has the patter and a really dry sense of humour which I think the others in the villa and the viewers will love she will definitely brighten up the show.

“Narrator Iain Stirling will also enjoy having her banter to play off as she has a dry and witty sense of humour. I have a feeling she might be in the villa for quite a while.”

Ella’s sister Ifro is one of the UK’s top fashion photographers who shot all the finalists in our Scout Me Scotland campaign earlier this year.

Mark said: “Ifro is good friends with Natasha Luwedde who is one of the nation’s top black supermodels and is with Colours. She suggested Ella come into see us three years ago and we signed her on the spot.

“There is no doubt in our minds that she is destined for great things in the world of modelling and we can see her being a success in the US.

“Everyone back here in Scotland will be rooting for Ella in Love Island, especially here at the agency. She’s got what it takes to be a big star.”

Ahead of going into the villa Ella told ITV: ““I am the whole package. I know what I want in life and I’ve got a big heart.”

The 5ft8 beauty, who spends her spare time holidaying in glamorous locations, added: “The one thing I want to let the boys in the villa know is that I’m wifey material so don’t play with me.”

When asked about her starring film and music video roles Ella said: “I’ve been in a Headie One and Burna Boy music video and I was once an extra in World War Z. I was 12 years old when I filmed it and got to meet Brad Pitt which was cool.”

Ella, whose Instagram gives a glimpse into her lifestyle of lavish cars, fashion and beachside locations, is already raising temperatures on social media.

Who knows what will happen during her summer of love but let’s hope Ella will follow in the footsteps of Scots Paige Turley, Laura Anderson and Anton Danyluk and make it to the final stages of the show.

Narrator Iain Stirling likes nothing better than bantering about his fellow countrymen and host Maya Jama, whose granddad is from Dollar, Stirlingshire, loves having Scots in the villa so it’s going to be tartan-tastic.
