This is the moment when a snake appeared in a Glasgow grandad's garden.
The reptile slithered into a property in Drumchapel on Friday April 29, when resident and bus driver William Mitchell was at work.
The corn snake was spotted in his garden by his grandson.
The youngster captured a clip of the animal which has since been viewed nearly 10,000 times on Facebook.
In the clip William's grandson can be heard saying: "There's a pet snake in your back. What the f***."
He continues: "Watch this look", before stamping his foot a number of times.
The red reptile, unfazed, stares back at him before the videoman adds: "Look at the thing, what the actual f***."
William posted the footage on social media in a bid to identify the owner of the snake.
He said: "Did someone in the drum lose a snake outside my back yard today?"
In the comments, one person joked: "Run!", while another added: "It is a scared corn snake. Their bite is harmless. Kittens do more damage."
Another person said: "It would be good if you phoned SSPCA as they would come out and take it away and find the owner. It must be scared, poor wee mite."
Meanwhile, another worried local said: "I hope they're out looking for it because it won’t last long in the cold."
William later revealed that he had tracked down the owner and it belonged to a resident living nearby.
However, sadly the scared little snake slithered off before they could return it to its home.
He told the Record: "It belonged to the people in the next close to me.
"I was at work at the time and it was my grandson that recorded it.
"After the video was taken the snake started hiding in the bins.
"I got a message from a girl next door and she said she'd lost one a while ago so we it looks like she was the owner.
"My grandson didn't go near it so we're not sure if the owner has it back yet.
"It might still be on the loose"
