A Scots drug dealer has been jailed after police raided properties in Alloa and Clackmannan and discovered stashes of drugs and cash estimated to be worth around £50k. Michael Campbell, 39, plead guilty at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, 10 October, to the supply of controlled drugs.
The drug dealer was arrested after officers raided properties on Church Street, Alloa, and Tower Place, Clackmannan, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Officers discovered a large sum of class C drugs and cash with an estimated value of £26,000.
Further raids at addresses in Achray Court, Alloa and Tower Place, Clackmannan, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, uncovered class B and C substances with an estimated street value of £27,000. Campbell was sentenced to 44 months in prison.
Detective Constable Ben Esplin said: “We welcome the conviction and sentencing of Michael Campbell.
“I hope it sends a clear message to those involved in the supply of drugs that we are committed to disrupting this illegal, harmful activity in our communities and those responsible will be caught.”
