Karen Clark was working as an accident and emergency specialist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary where she had an impressive career before an alcohol addiction took over her life.
Spiralling out of control, the doctor launched a vicious attack on four nurses after being taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock for treatment as she turned to theft and violence.
