A Scots dad who tragically died after an accidental fall in Croatia has been remembered as a “dedicated family man” by his heartbroken loved ones. Gavin McCarte, from Dumbarton, sadly passed away while on holiday with friends last month.
The 36-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious by local police while his family are being supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The doting dad-of-two was an engineering manager for Scottish Water and was “well respected across the industry”.
