Scots dad of baby left without food in filthy flat before being found dead is jailed

A dad who admitted neglecting his 19-month-old daughter after she was found dead has been jailed for 14 months.

Tragic Kiera Conroy was found lifeless by her parents Michael Conroy and Kirsty Boyle five days before Christmas in 2017.

Conroy, 27, and Boyle, 24, had stayed up through the previous night watching TV then slept for hours leaving the toddler alone in another room.
