A cocaine dealer whose £10,000 stash of the Class A drug was discovered by a police sniffer dog has been sent to prison for 13 months.
Jordan Dandie's heavily pregnant partner wept in court as he was jailed three weeks before she is due to give birth to their child. Dundee Sheriff Court heard how Dandie, 35, had the cocaine separated into individual wraps for sale on the streets of Dundee.
The court was told that Dandie had previously been law abiding but had decided to start selling cocaine after developing a drug habit. He had taken the opportunity to make money during lockdown when he found it difficult to find paid employment, the court heard.
