A senior Scots carer who attacked a bed-bound 95-year-old dementia sufferer to “teach her a lesson” has been struck off.
Davina Bissett, 53, has been banned by the Scottish Social Services Council.
She called her victim a “brat” before leaving her covered in bruises.
An investigation by the SSSC found Bissett’s behaviour was “incompatible” with her being allowed to work in the care profession.
The watchdog also found she had shown no remorse.
She was convicted of assault and fined £600 in Perth Sheriff Court last year.
