Parts of Scotland have been issued with an amber weather warning for 'extreme heat' - and it seems like some Scots are struggling to cope.
It comes as Western Europe battled intense heatwaves with holidaymakers being warned of wild fires. That hot air is now being pushed up to the UK with temperatures reaching 40C in the south of England and high twenties here in Scotland.
Trains have been cancelled while Scots are urged to take care, wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water and keep an eye on their pets. In Scotland, locals are proving that temperatures spiking to high twenties sees behaviour that, some might argue, is only ever displayed during a heatwave.
